Publishing In Colors

As a new author it is a process trying to get your work published. I was very happy and thrilled after I self published my first children's book titled: Superheroes of Service: an Immigrant Story. We already sold over 600 copies and able to partner up with United Way local chapters to purchase over 300 copies of the book. Superheroes of Service was the book selected by United Way local chapter in Harrisburg, PA as a book of service.

Now we are facing a different challenge. How do we get the book out to as many hands as possible? This is when I saw an ad on Facebook for writing workshop 'Publishing in Color' by Brian Allain. When I contacted him he was very nice and enabled me to attend the event. The workshop was more then I expected. I learned so much and met a lot of amazing Publishing houses, Agents, Editors, Magazines and amazing guest speakers.

This is a preview of the first Publishing In Colors (PIC) by Brian Allain in NJ. Stay tuned as we will be updating the progress of the agent I am currently working with from the conference. The host of the conference was New Brunswick Theological Seminar and they did an amazing job. The place is clean, very picture friendly and the staff is present if you need them. Our Daily Bread Ministries had such a strong presence at the conference. I had the chance to hear and meet the VOICES Executive Editor, Joyce Dinkins, who is such an inspirational lady. Here is a list of some of the heroes I was able to meet with:
